Our center has also been certified by the US Department of Veterans Affairs to train Veterans

The Extended (part-time) Program may use approved clinical sites where the prospective students are currently involved in ministry. In addition, one of San Antonio’s Level 1 Trauma Centers will also be used as a clinical training site.

The uniqueness of this program can be seen in its non-traditional clinical setting, pastoral ministry population and hours. CPE will be offered during evening hours, one day a week for five months making it more available to those who have other full-time obligations.

R. C. Freedom Ministries, Inc. offers up to four units of ACPE-CPE. Each unit is 400 hours, totaling 1600 hours.

CPE Unit I Concentration:  
“Self-Awareness” Pastoral Reflection (Being in Ministry)
CPE Unit II Concentration:
"The Pastor as Caregiver" Pastoral Formation
(Having in MInistry)

Note:  First 4 days of the On-line CPE Program must be accomplished on-site at a retreat center in San Antonio, Texas.

(Accommodations and meals not included, but are reasonable.)

Due to COVID-19, our Orientation/Retreat at the beginning of the Fall 2021 Unit and Graduation at the end of the Fall 2021 Unit will not

 take place in San Antonio, Texas.


 Instead, these will be done online for the 2021 academic year.
