Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)

Due to COVID-19, our Orientation/Retreat at the beginning of the Fall 2020 Unit and Graduation at the end of the Fall 2020 Unit will not

take place in San Antonio, Texas.

Instead, these will be done online for the 2020 academic year.

Our center has also been certified by the US Department of Veterans Affairs to train Veterans www.benefits.va.gov/benefits.

The Extended (part-time) Program may use approved clinical sites where the prospective students are currently involved in ministry. In addition, one of San Antonio’s Level 1 Trauma Centers will also be used as a clinical training site.

The uniqueness of this program can be seen in its non-traditional clinical setting, pastoral ministry population and hours. CPE will be offered during evening hours, one day a week for five months making it more available to those who have other full-time obligations.

R.C. Freedom Ministries Extended CPE Program
